We’re looking for an experienced HR Lead – People, Operations & Culture to be the steady hand that keeps our thriving culture strong while ensuring our people and operations run smoothly. This isn’t about reinventing who we are — it’s about protecting what makes us great and scaling it with care. You’ll handle everything from hiring exceptional talent and running smooth onboarding, to managing payroll, appraisal cycles, and remote asset allocation. You’ll also take the lead in organising engaging virtual and occasional in-person events to keep our distributed team connected — helping ensure our leadership can focus on strategic growth while the team and operations run seamlessly.

 

Responsibilities

People & Culture

  • Preserve and strengthen our existing culture across all HR and operational touchpoints.
  • Lead end-to-end recruitment to ensure every hire aligns with our values and high standards.
  • Oversee onboarding processes that help new hires integrate smoothly into our way of working.
  • Manage appraisal cycles, performance reviews, and employee feedback processes.
  • Plan and organise engaging virtual and occasional in-person events to connect and energise our remote team.
  • Support initiatives that boost employee engagement, retention, and collaboration.
  • Ensure compliance with employment regulations across all operational geographies.

 

Operations

  • Oversee payroll to ensure accurate, timely compensation for employees.
  • Manage allocation, tracking, and returns of company-provided assets for remote team members.
  • Maintain and refine operational processes for efficient collaboration across time zones.
  • Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and administrative requirements.
  • Monitor HR and operational metrics, reporting insights and recommendations to leadership.

 

Leadership & Strategy

  • Serve as the go-to point of contact for people, culture, and operational matters.
  • Work with leadership to embed company values into all processes and decisions.
  • Identify and implement process improvements that scale effectively without disrupting culture.
  • Promote transparency, trust, and accountability across the organisation.

 

Desired Experience & Skills

  • 5+ years

    in HR, people operations, or similar roles with operational responsibilities.
  • Proven ability to manage HR and operations while preserving company culture.
  • Experience with payroll, appraisals, and asset management in remote environments.
  • Strong recruitment skills with an emphasis on cultural fit and quality of hire.
  • Excellent organisational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with HRIS, ATS, and remote collaboration tools.
  • Ability to plan and execute engaging events for distributed teams.
  • MBA in HR, Operations, or related field is a plus.
