Job Description: We are seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer to lead our test automation efforts and drive innovation in our testing processes. The QA Automation Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test suites to ensure high-quality software products. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of test automation tools, programming languages, and software testing methodologies. Responsibilities: Lead the development and maintenance of automated test suites using test automation tools. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and develop test cases. Mentor and provide guidance to junior and senior team members on automation best practices. Evaluate and recommend new testing technologies and tools. Execute automated tests and analyze test results. Report and track defects in the bug-tracking system. Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and maintainability. Continuously improve test automation frameworks and processes. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in software testing and automation. Desired Experience: 4+ years of experience in software testing. 3+ years of experience in automation testing. Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar. Deep knowledge of software testing methodologies and best practices. Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodology. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Primary Skills: Strong understanding of test automation concepts – making tests repeatable, noting where data parameters and functions are needed. Depth of xPath knowledge, including mastery of the techniques . Introductory familiarity with JavaScript. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner. Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines. Experience with cloud-based testing tools and frameworks. Knowledge of mobile app testing and automation. Experience with test management tools such as JIRA or HP ALM. Experience with API testing and automation. Experience with machine learning testing and automation.
