As we scale, we are looking for an HR Generalist who can take ownership of our hiring needs while ensuring smooth day-to-day HR operations.Role OverviewThe HR Generalist will play a critical role in driving Talent Acquisition for &DONE, accounting for 60–70% of the role, while also supporting 30–40% of recurring HR operations. This role requires someone hands-on, organized, and comfortable working in a growing, dynamic environment.Key ResponsibilitiesTalent Acquisition (60–70%)
  • Own the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle for assigned roles across functions
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements, team needs, and hiring timelines
  • Draft and post job descriptions on relevant job portals, social media, and internal channels
  • Source candidates through job portals, LinkedIn, referrals, and other creative channels
  • Screen resumes and conduct initial HR interviews
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers
  • Manage candidate communication and ensure a positive candidate experience
  • Handle offer rollouts, negotiations, and pre-joining engagement
  • Maintain and update recruitment trackers and hiring dashboards
  • Support employer branding initiatives and recruitment process improvements
HR Operations & Generalist Responsibilities (30–40%)
  • Manage employee onboarding and exit processes, including documentation and coordination
  • Maintain employee records and HRIS/HRMS data accurately
  • Support payroll inputs, attendance, and leave management
  • Assist in implementing HR policies, processes, and SOPs
  • Handle routine employee queries related to HR policies and processes
  • Support performance management cycles and HR initiatives
  • Ensure statutory and compliance-related documentation support (as applicable)
  • Assist in engagement activities and internal communication initiatives

Desired Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of end-to-end recruitment processes
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Good organizational and documentation skills
  • Working knowledge of HR operations and basic labor compliance
  • Comfortable using job portals, LinkedIn, and HR tools/HRMS
  • High level of ownership, confidentiality, and professionalism

Qualifications

  • MBA / PGDM in HR or equivalent qualification
  • 2–5 years of experience in HR with significant exposure to Talent Acquisition
  • Experience in startup or high-growth environments is a plus
