Job Description

Role Overview

The HR Business Partner will act as a strategic partner to the LAP business vertical, driving end-to-end employee lifecycle management. This role ensures seamless HR service delivery by aligning people practices with business priorities, supporting employees from onboarding to exit, and building an engaged, performance-driven workforce.

Onboarding & Induction

  • Facilitate smooth onboarding for new joiners in the LAP vertical.
  • Coordinate with IT, Admin, and relevant teams for day-one readiness (assets, IDs, system access).
  • Conduct HR induction sessions and ensure completion of joining formalities/documentation.
  • Ensure timely creation and maintenance of employee records in HRMS

Employee Lifecycle Management

  • Act as the first point of contact for employees regarding HR queries, policies, and processes.
  • Maintain and update employee data regularly (transfers, role changes, etc.).
  • Support performance management processes (goal setting, mid-year reviews, annual appraisals).
  • Ensure timely confirmation process and probation reviews for new employees.

Employee Engagement & Communication

  • Travel frequently to visit branches to engage with the field force, identify the support items and ensure for closure of such items
  • Assist in organizing employee engagement activities specific to the LAP vertical.
  • Conduct periodic 1:1 check-ins, skip-levels, or pulse surveys to gather employee feedback.
  • Escalate concerns and trends to senior HR leadership.

Attendance & Leave Management

  • Monitor attendance reports, track absenteeism trends, and support managers with leave queries.
  • Liaise with payroll to ensure leave and attendance data accuracy.

Compliance & HR Operations

  • Ensure adherence to HR policies, code of conduct, and statutory compliance.
  • Maintain employee files and documents in accordance with audit and compliance requirements.
  • Support HR audits and internal/external compliance checks.

Exit Management

  • Manage resignation process, conduct exit interviews, and analyze feedback.
  • Coordinate full and final settlement in collaboration with payroll teams.
  • Work on attrition analysis and suggest retention strategies based on trends.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Basic understanding of HR operations and labor laws
  • High attention to detail and process orientation
  • Proficiency in MS Office and HRMS platforms
  • Problem-solving attitude and ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams

Qualifications & Experience

  • Masters in Human Resources (MBA/MSW/PGDM HR) or equivalent.
  • Prior HRBP experience with exposure to sales/branch workforce is an advantage.

This profile demands travel across the region at least 10 days in a months.
