We are now looking for an experienced HR Manager with a strong background in the IT industry to help us streamline processes, support organizational growth, and elevate the employee experience.

Position Overview

The HR Manager at App Knit will be responsible for managing the complete HR lifecycle — from recruitment and onboarding to performance management, compliance, and employee engagement.
You will work closely with leadership, project managers, and cross-functional teams to build a high-performing workforce and maintain a positive, transparent, and process-driven work culture.

This role requires strong ownership, excellent communication, and the ability to independently manage HR operations in a fast-growing IT environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Talent Acquisition (IT Focused)

• Manage end-to-end recruitment for technical and non-technical IT roles
• Understand hiring needs for Developers, Designers, QA, PMs, BDEs, etc.
• Conduct sourcing, screening, interviews, and pipeline management
• Build and maintain strong hiring processes and documentation

2. HR Operations & Documentation

• Manage onboarding, exit processes, employee files, and HRIS
• Monitor attendance, leave records, and maintain up-to-date HR databases
• Maintain confidentiality and data accuracy

3. Employee Experience & Engagement

• Plan and execute employee engagement initiatives
• Conduct periodic feedback discussions and ensure a positive work culture
• Assist in resolving employee queries and concerns professionally
• Support leadership in building a collaborative, transparent environment

4. Performance Management

• Drive quarterly and annual performance review cycles
• Support managers in defining KRAs, goals, and evaluation criteria
• Maintain performance reports and ensure timely updates

5. Compliance & Policy Management

• Ensure compliance with labor laws, ESI, EPF, and statutory frameworks
• Assist in implementing and refining HR policies, SOPs, and guidelines
• Oversee discipline, professionalism, and policy adherence

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3–5 years of HR experience exclusively in the IT industry
• Strong understanding of IT hiring, HR operations, and compliance
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and manage responsibilities independently
• Strong documentation and process-orientation
• Experience in IT services or product companies preferred
