HR & Admin Intern — Paid Internship

Experience Level — Fresher

Location — Ahmedabad, India (WFO)

Role Summary

This internship sits at the intersection of people operations and administrative efficiency. You will support core HR workflows, streamline day-to-day office processes, and help architect a culture that empowers high-performance teams. Think of it as your launchpad into the world of strategic HR and operational governance — with a front-row seat to startup velocity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft and refine leave policies, attendance structures, and holiday frameworks.
  • Manage daily attendance reconciliation and support compliance-driven documentation.
  • Strengthen company culture by initiating employee engagement and L&D (Learning and Development) touchpoints.
  • Coordinate learning plans through curated technical courses and internal upskilling programs.
  • Drive end-to-end recruitment workflows: posting jobs, screening resumes, conducting telephonic pre-screenings, and scheduling interviews.
  • Prepare HR documentation including offer letters, experience letters, and other employment records.
  • Oversee office etiquettes, maintain administrative operational standards, and support general office management tasks.
  • Assist in invoicing, vendor coordination, procurement, and asset tracking.
  • Support management with special HR and office administration tasks to enhance organizational efficiency.
  • Maintain employee files, update internal records, and support HR audit readiness.
  • Anchor employee onboarding and exit formalities for seamless lifecycle management.

Must-have Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Master of Business Administration (MBA), or Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) preferred.
  • Strong communication skills with a polished professional presence.
  • Basic understanding of HR processes, documentation, and corporate standards.
  • Ability to manage spreadsheets, documentation tools, and standard office software.
  • High accountability mindset with a drive for operational precision.

Preferred / Nice-to-have

  • Understanding of HR tech tools or Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
  • Experience in event coordination, employee engagement, or campus hiring.
  • Familiarity with invoicing or admin workflows.
  • Interest in corporate culture-building initiatives.
