Job Summary:

The Hostess will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a warm, welcoming, and professional dining experience. Responsible for greeting and seating guests, managing reservations, coordinating with service staff, and upholding the brands service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome guests warmly and courteously as they arrive at the restaurant.
  
• Manage reservations and walk-in guests efficiently to optimize seating capacity.
  
• Escort guests to their tables, present menus, and ensure guests feel comfortable.
  
• Maintain an updated seating chart and reservation system.
  
• Communicate guest preferences and special occasions to service staff.
  
• Assist in managing guest complaints or concerns, escalating to the manager when required.
  
• Ensure the reception area and waiting lounge are clean, presentable, and well-organized.
  
• Coordinate with service and kitchen teams to ensure smooth guest flow and dining experience.
  
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, promotions, and restaurant offerings to answer guest queries.
  
• Support in upholding Speciality Restaurants’ brand image and service excellence.

Qualification & Experience:

• Graduate / Diploma in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.
  
• Prior experience as a Hostess/Guest Relations Executive in fine dining or premium casual dining restaurants desirable.
  
• Freshers with strong communication skills and pleasing personality may also be considered.
  

Work Environment:

• Dynamic, guest-centric restaurant setting.
  
• Requires standing for long durations and interacting with guests continuously.
