About the Role

The position requires deep engagement to drive sustainable household banking and strengthen the SA performance across channels through developing and executing a product (SA) strategy, managing SA portfolio, and leading a team of Regional Savings Account Managers. The incumbent will be a key catalyst for building a strong liability book by driving acquisition, digital adoption and primary usage through cross selling which includes products line RD/FD, Investment, YSL, MF, lending & credit cards hence increasing product penetration. S/he should be able to provide the necessary product support as required by the regional savings account managers to deliver on defined objective of building a sustainable savings account book thereby being a catalyst towards building liability book for the country. The incumbent will have to continuously monitor and optimize business quality, productivity, and compliance. S/he should possess strong SA product knowledge and should have relevant field experience of driving the overall business through active engagement with regional leadership.


Responsibilities


  • Strategy and Planning

  • Should have the ability to define as well as execute product strategy, vision, and roadmap by leading Regional Savings Account Managers.
  • Should have the ability to effectively engage with cluster/regional/zonal management and articulate/present the progress on defined business objectives to senior leadership.
  • Should work smartly to manage his relationships with multiple layers across zones and other cross functional teams and product support groups.
  • Effectively collaborate with relevant stakeholders to develop and implement go-to-market strategies.
  • Effectively use positive influencers and counter negative influencers to drive and meet business objectives.
  • Lead training initiatives to upskill teams on product knowledge and sales pitches for SA and investments.

Policies, Processes & Procedures


  • Foster high standards in customer onboarding, and work towards mitigating risks arising out of Mule/ AML, strengthen compliance culture towards Household business.
  • Ensuring implementation of the risk policies and processes and ensure that existing business meets the stipulated regulatory guidelines.
  • Should continuously monitor the sourcing quality and bring forth any anomalies across all markets through cross sell & payment activation.
  • Manage recall through on-ground training initiatives.
  • Drive SA FTR.
  • Cross-selling RD/FD, Investment.
  • Driving centrally strategized agendas successfully through RSAMs.
  • Team management of RSAM bucket/s.
  • Accountable for building the overall SA book, NRV growth for the region.
  • Drive the SA acquisition, CIB book growth strategically by providing necessary support/ analytics to the regional managers across the country.
  • Define key performance indicators (KPI) and metrics to monitor portfolio health.
  • Enhance customer experience by cross-selling RD/FD, Investment, Mutual Funds, hence building a sustainable SA Book growth.
  • Drive digital activation, account aggregator penetration, consistent usage of digital channels, tax payments.
  • Build strong partnerships with RWA’s, key societies, clubs/ associations to promote family-based banking solutions and leverage cross-sell opportunities for household business.
  • Track teams’ productivity across parameters and monitor daily book movement along with the sourcing quality of the region.
  • Provides expertise to field teams on overall business that includes Acquisition, Retention and Enhancements in SA AMB.
  • Maintain the quality of SA business in line with the stated organization and regulatory objectives.
  • Actively engage with the leadership across all regions and drive the centrally strategized agenda for the assigned geography effectively.
  • Develop an understanding of problems faced by customers and employ existing or new methods to find solutions timely.
  • Analyze business trends and market offerings to help in fine-tuning customer offerings. Help build product features to suit market requirements.
  • Drive digital banking adoption for SA and investment products.

People Management

  • Managing internal and external stakeholders and demonstrate good Interpersonal skills to facilitate stakeholder support on all processes/system alignment.
  • Individual with a go-getter attitude, should be able to work independently by collaborating with multiple business groups in driving bank's SA and investment business strategy.


Preferred: MBA From premium business schools will be preferred
