Head PMCG

Purpose/Objective

The Head Planning plays a pivotal role in overseeing the planning and execution of Cement Project industry operations. The individual will be responsible for strategizing, coordinating, and implementing comprehensive project plans to ensure the successful completion of cement projects. Analytical & dedicated personnel who shall bind the project team, support (Engineering & Procurement) team & supplier with a common objective/plan of completing the project within stipulated time & cost.

Key Responsibilities of Role

1. Evaluate and analyze with team risks and issues compromising project results and develop plans to mitigate them. 1. Lead development of baseline schedule and support Project Manager (PM) in Integrated Baseline Review (IBR). 1. End to end project planning & scheduling. 1. Preparation of Project approval document including budgeting. 1. Progress monitoring. 1. Coordination with Services functions like HR, Finance, TCD. 1. Management reporting and analysis. 1. Ensure no delay due to non-availability of resources (manpower and construction equipment). 1. Ensure no delay due to non-availability of TMT, Cement, Aggregates, Stru. Steel and equipment. 1. Ensure micro level planning for construction activities, equipment availability to commission the project. 1. Ensure cash flow as per budget and no cashflow over run. 1. Ensure proper coordination between cross functional team for smooth execution of project. 1. Ensure proper coordination with plant operation team for interface between plant and project. 1. Ensure proper follow-up and availability of Offshore and on shore materials as per plan. 1. Preparation of complete End-to-End Planning of Project and monitoring with Associate Partner and notify to Project Head for any delay or abnormality. 1. S-Curve and Presentation for higher Management. 1. Preparations or review of Weekly/monthly progress reports & Updating progress (weekly & monthly). 1. Preparing Master & Individual Construction schedule by M. S. Projects. 1. Coordinate with the contractor’s representative and Site Engineer in charge for Updating progress (weekly & monthly). 1. Monitoring Site Progress regularly. 1. Co-ordination with Contractors quality Engineer for submission of material submittals to consultant. 1. Preparing Measurement sheet entry in SAP.

Qualifications and Experience

Qualifications Essential B.E./ B. Tech (Civil/ Mechanical/ E & I) Desirable/Preferable Post-graduation degree, Diploma in Civil/ Mechanical/ E & I Engineering, Certificate in Construction Management, Certificate in Project Management Professional, MBA in Project Management Work Experience (Cumulative) Total Years (Band) 10-15 Years Years (Relevant) 8-10 Years Seniority (desirable) Types of Organization MNC, Indian Conglomerates, Large Scale, SME, Listed, Hi-Growth, Stable, Process driven Types of Sectors Infrastructure, Construction, Steel, Oil, Gas, Power Variety of experience 10 years planning experience in Cement/ manufacturing industry Qualitative aspects Work experience in Cement/ Manufacturing industry
