Head of Technology

As a rapidly evolving technology company, we're seeking a visionary Head of Technology who can drive our technical strategy while maintaining hands-on involvement with our engineering teams. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the direction of our products and services while working with the latest technologies in AI and telecommunications.

• Develop and implement the technology strategy and roadmap, considering both short-term needs and long-term vision
• Lead architecture decisions for all software products, ensuring scalability, security, and performance
• Drive innovation in AI technologies, including Conversational AI and Generative AI applications
• Oversee integration of telephony systems with cutting-edge software solutions
• Manage technology budgets and resource allocation across global teams
• Build, lead, and mentor engineering teams across multiple locations
• Establish technical standards, best practices, and development methodologies
• Participate in code reviews and occasionally contribute to critical development efforts
• Collaborate with Product Management to align technology capabilities with market needs
• Represent Estontec's technical vision to clients, partners, and industry forums

• 12+ years of experience in software development and engineering
• 5+ years of experience with telephony systems and infrastructure
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with AI technologies, including conversational and generative AI
• 3+ years of leadership experience managing engineering teams
• Track record of successful product launches and technology implementations

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred)
• Strong coding skills with continued hands-on technical involvement
• Experience working in multinational companies or startups/scaleups
• Excellent project management and organizational skills
• Ability to travel between our offices in Bangalore, Singapore, and Dubai
• Excellent Communication Skills

Extensive experience with modern programming languages and frameworks, cloud architectures, microservices, and DevOps practices. Strong knowledge of system design, scalability, and performance optimization.

Deep understanding of VoIP, SIP, WebRTC, PBX systems, and telephony APIs. Experience integrating communication platforms with software applications and cloud services.

Hands-on experience with AI frameworks, NLP, machine learning models, conversational AI development, and implementing generative AI solutions in production environments.
