Head of Technology

As the Head of Engineering at Autocash AI, you will have the opportunity to lead the India engineering team and play a crucial role in shaping the future of financial automation. Your responsibilities will include owning the architecture and design of a multi-tenant SaaS platform, building scalable systems to handle transaction volumes and AI/ML workloads, driving technical choices for backend, frontend, cloud infrastructure, and database, ensuring high code quality, and establishing performance benchmarks and capacity planning for growth. Additionally, you will recruit, mentor, and grow a team of engineers, set up Agile processes, and create a strong engineering culture of ownership and innovation. **Key Responsibilities:** - Own architecture and design for a multi-tenant SaaS platform with high availability and security. - Build scalable systems for growing transaction volumes, real-time analytics, and AI/ML workloads. - Drive technical choices for backend (Python), frontend (React), cloud infrastructure (AWS), and database (Postgres). - Lead technical deep dives, ensure high code quality, and design for scalability and resilience. - Establish performance benchmarks, capacity planning, robust security, and compliance. - Recruit, mentor, and grow a team of engineers, set up Agile processes, and create a strong engineering culture. - Partner with product and business leadership to align the technical roadmap with customer needs. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. - 6-10 years in software engineering, with at least 4+ years in leadership. - Proven experience designing and scaling SaaS systems, preferably in fintech or B2B SaaS. - Strong hands-on expertise with Python, React, AWS, and Postgres. - Experience with AI/ML integration, multi-tenant design, data pipelines, and microservices. - Familiarity with observability tools and excellent communication skills.
