Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the overall sales strategy to meet business growth and revenue targets across all product lines (Neuro, Cardio, Diabetic, Ortho, etc.).
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the entire sales team, including regional and area managers, to ensure high performance and professional development.
  • Set clear, ambitious sales targets (KPIs) and monitor performance regularly, utilizing market data and analytics to make informed decisions.
  • Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with key clients, major accounts, distributors, and strategic partners across India.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities and refine strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing, product development, and operations teams to ensure aligned business strategies and seamless execution.
  • Oversee the sales budget, forecasting, and resource planning for the entire sales department.
  • Ensure all sales practices and activities strictly comply with pharmaceutical regulations and ethical standards.
  • Represent the company at key industry events, conferences, and leadership forums to enhance brand visibility and network.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (B. Pharm/M. Pharm background is a plus).
  • Proven experience (minimum 10-15 years) as a Sales Head, National Sales Manager, or equivalent senior leadership role within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Deep understanding of the Indian pharmaceutical market dynamics, including channel sales and distribution networks.
  • Exceptional leadership, team management, and strategic planning skills.
  • Outstanding communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in CRM systems and data reporting tools.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and drive a culture of performance and accountability.
