Job Description

As the Head of Sales and Marketing for our client based in Hyderabad, India, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth of the company. Your responsibilities will include: Role Overview: You will be responsible for defining and executing the sales strategy to achieve the company's growth goals. Leading and mentoring the sales team will be vital in surpassing revenue targets. Identifying and onboarding key clients across various sectors such as eCommerce platforms, retailers, SMEs, and enterprise clients will be a key focus. Building channel partnerships and reseller networks, as well as utilizing data-driven sales forecasting and performance tracking, will be essential for success. Key Responsibilities: - Define and execute the overall sales strategy aligned with the company's growth goals. - Lead and mentor the sales team to meet and exceed revenue targets. - Identify and onboard key clients including eCommerce platforms, retailers, SMEs, and enterprise clients. - Build channel partnerships and reseller networks. - Use data-driven sales forecasting and performance tracking. - Develop integrated marketing campaigns (digital, offline, influencer, BTL/ATL) to drive brand awareness and customer acquisition. - Collaborate with product and tech teams for go-to-market planning of new features or services. - Oversee performance marketing, SEO/SEM, content marketing, and social media strategy. - Build PR and communication strategies to position the company as an industry leader. - Build, lead, and scale sales and marketing teams. - Work closely with Product, Operations, and Customer Success teams to align strategies. - Set KPIs, monitor performance, and continuously optimize processes. - Analyse market trends, customer behaviour, and competitor activities. - Identify new growth markets, segments, and strategic opportunities. - Gather feedback from clients to improve product-market fit and service quality. Qualifications & Skills: - Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred). - 8-12+ years of experience in sales and marketing, preferably in logistics, SaaS, aggregator platforms, or eCommerce. - Proven leadership in managing multi-functional teams. - Strong understanding of the logistics and shipping ecosystem. - Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills. - Data-driven with experience using CRM tools, marketing automation, and analytics platforms. - Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on execution and results.,
