Job Description

As the Head of Retail Operations at Vision Express, your role is crucial in driving business performance across all stores. You will focus on revenue growth, like-to-like (L2L) improvement, and expansion through new store openings. Your responsibilities include: - **Strategic & Business Leadership:** - Define and execute the retail operations strategy for sustainable growth. - Drive revenue through L2L performance, new store expansion, and innovative sales levers. - Partner with the buying team to introduce winning products and categories. - Keep track of competitor landscape and implement best practices. - **Customer Experience & Engagement:** - Maintain consistent brand experience across all stores. - Strengthen loyalty programs and repeat purchase initiatives. - Use CRM and digital engagement for customer re-engagement. - **Sales & Profitability:** - Ensure sales growth through various revenue drivers. - Drive upselling and cross-selling opportunities. - Maintain profitability through operational discipline and cost efficiency. - **Expansion & Growth:** - Lead new store opening projects. - Implement expansion plans to increase Vision Express footprint. - **People & Leadership:** - Lead, develop, and inspire regional managers and retail teams. - Build team capability through training and development. - **Operations & Process Excellence:** - Define and monitor store performance KPIs. - Partner with supply chain and buying teams. - Leverage technology for efficiency and data-driven decisions. Qualifications & Experience: - Bachelors degree in Business, Retail Management, or related field (MBA preferred). - Extensive experience in retail operations. - Strong commercial acumen and understanding of retail P&L. - Experience in customer experience design, loyalty programs, CRM engagement, and expansion projects. - Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
