Job Brief

We are looking for a Head of Production to lead end-to-end execution of BTL, visual merchandising, space dcor, in-store branding, and advertising build projects.

This role requires a leader who can turn creative concepts into flawless on-ground reality through strong planning, vendor management, quality control, and team leadership.

You will work closely with the CEO and creative teams, taking complete ownership of production, fabrication, installation, timelines, and budgets.

Responsibilities

1. Production Planning & Scheduling

• Build and manage production schedules for VM, retail branding, space dcor, and BTL campaigns.
• Allocate materials, manpower, machines, printers, fabricators, and installers efficiently.
• Maintain workflow & job tracking through ERP/CRM tools.
• Plan capacity for high-volume and multi-location rollouts.

2. Execution of BTL & Branding Projects

• Oversee full production cycles: printing, fabrication, CNC/laser work, painting, finishing, assembly, packing & dispatch.
• Ensure perfect execution of store branding, window displays, retail fixtures, kiosks, signage, and event installations.
• Coordinate closely with vendors, suppliers, and fabrication partners for timely delivery.
• Supervising fit-outs, site surveys, installation teams, and logistics across locations.

3. Quality, Process & Materials Management

• Establish and enforce quality standards for VM builds, displays, fixtures, and branding materials.
• Identify areas for process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce production defects.
• Manage raw material procurement (acrylic, MDF, metal, vinyl, lighting, prints, props, etc.).
• Ensure proper maintenance of machines and production equipment to avoid downtime.

4. Leadership & Team Management

• Lead teams across printing, fabrication, carpentry, painting, installation, and production coordination.
• Train teams on industry best practices and ensure high productivity.
• Resolve conflicts fairly and maintain a positive, accountable work environment.
• Work closely with BD, Design, Procurement, and Client Servicing teams for seamless execution.

5. Budgeting & Cost Control

• Prepare, track, and manage production budgets for each project.
• Optimise costs through smart sourcing, vendor negotiation, and waste control.
• Ensure projects are completed within budget without compromising quality.

6. Safety, Compliance & Documentation

• Maintain strict safety protocols within the production facility and at client sites.
• Ensure compliance with legal, environmental, and structural guidelines.
• Maintain production documentation, QC reports, and installation checklists.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Production/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
• 7 to 10+ years of experience in BTL, visual merchandising, retail branding, fabrication, or production management.
• Strong knowledge of printing processes, fabrication materials, signage, fixture building, and installations.
• Proven experience handling multi-location retail branding rollouts.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage vendors effectively.
• Skilled in planning, workflow optimisation, crisis management, and quality control.
• Proficient in ERP/CRM/job tracking tools.
