Head of HR


Role Overview

The Head of HR will report directly to the leadership team (CMD, CEO) and will be responsible for designing, implementing, and scaling HR frameworks that enable growth. This is a strategic and hands-on leadership role requiring deep expertise in talent management, organizational development, and employee engagement.


Key Responsibilities


1. Strategic HR & Leadership Alignment

  • Define and execute HR strategy aligned with business expansion (India & international markets).
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the leadership team on people, culture, and organizational design.
  • Lead workforce planning for new factories, retail experience centres, and global markets.


2. Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding

  • Build a strong hiring engine to attract top talent across

    design, production, sales, and management

    .
  • Forge partnerships with design schools, B-schools, and industry institutions.
  • Position Coast to Coast as the

    employer of choice

    in interiors and design.


3. Learning, Development & Culture

  • Design L&D programs covering

    technical skills, leadership development, AI adoption, and design knowledge

    .
  • Implement succession planning and career development pathways.
  • Drive employee engagement and culture-building initiatives that reflect our values of

    innovation, accountability, and collaboration

    .


4. Performance Management & HR Operations

  • Implement modern appraisal frameworks linked to KPIs, output, and behavior.
  • Standardize HR policies across all verticals while balancing creative flexibility.
  • Oversee payroll, compliance, grievance handling, and employee support systems.


KPIs & Success Metrics

  • Talent Acquisition

    → Time-to-hire < 45 days for critical roles.
  • Retention

    → Employee attrition reduced year-on-year.
  • Performance

    → 100% adoption of structured appraisal and KPI system.
  • Engagement

    → Employee engagement scores improved by >20% within 12 months.
  • Training

    → 80%+ employees trained in core competencies annually.
  • Operational Excellence

    → HR processes digitized and compliance at 100%.


Requirements

  • 10–15 years of HR experience

    , with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Exposure to

    manufacturing, design/luxury, or high-growth consumer sectors
