Ecommerce Head


Role Requirement:

  • Education:

    Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
  • Experience:

    Minimum of 10+ years of experience in e-commerce management, preferably in the textile or apparel industry.
  • Industry Exposure:

    Must have working experience in Textile/Fashion & Apparel.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategy & Planning:

Develop and implement a comprehensive e-commerce strategy aligned with the company's goals.

Set and achieve sales targets and KPIs for the e-commerce division.

Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive analysis.

  • E-commerce Operations:

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the e-commerce platform, ensuring a seamless and positive customer experience.

Manage product listings, pricing, promotions, and inventory on the e-commerce website.

Coordinate with the IT team to ensure the website is optimized for performance, security, and user experience.

  • Digital Marketing:

Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media, and content marketing.

Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and adjust strategies as needed.

Collaborate with the creative team to produce high-quality content that drives traffic and engagement.

  • Customer Engagement & Retention:

Implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction, loyalty, and retention.

Utilize data and analytics to understand customer behavior and preferences.

Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.

  • Team Leadership:

Lead and mentor the e-commerce team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.

Provide training and development opportunities to team members.

Evaluate team performance and provide regular feedback.


Skills:

  • Leadership and Management: Ability to lead and motivate teams effectively.
  • Proven track record of driving e-commerce growth and achieving sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies and tools.
  • Proficiency in e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce) and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent time management, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
  • Analytical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis to make informed decisions for business improvement.
  • Communication: Strong communication skills to coordinate with staff, vendors, and other departments.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to anticipate and solve operational challenges and bottlenecks.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
