Head of Business Development


Designation:

Head – Business Development


Responsibilities & Duties:

  • · Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve revenue and growth targets.
  • · Identify and evaluate new market opportunities, partnerships, and product placement avenues both domestically and internationally.
  • ·Lead end-to-end negotiations and establish long-term relationships with clients, distributors, and global partners.
  • ·Drive a market trends, competitive intelligence, and trade regulations.
  • ·Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Sales and Product Development) to ensure seamless execution of growth initiatives.
  • · Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing BD team to meet organizational goals.
  • · Monitor KPIs and create actionable plans to improve market share and profitability.
  • · Represent the organization at trade fairs, exhibitions, and global events to expand brand presence.
  • · Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve revenue and growth targets.
  • · Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify emerging opportunities, potential collaborations, and new market segments.
  • · Lead market entry strategies—domestic and international—focused on Agriculture and Consumer Durables.
  • · Oversee the development of sales strategies, pricing models, forecasts, and pipeline management.
  • · Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to execute campaigns with measurable performance metrics.
  • · Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing BD team. Set clear targets, coach on best practices, and conduct performance reviews.
  • · Define KPIs at departmental and individual levels; monitor and optimize to enhance market share and profitability.
  • · Ensure compliance with international trade laws and regulations; manage risk by evaluating commercial agreements.
  • · Incorporate sustainability and ESG practices into BD strategies to align with organizational values and global trends.


Qualifications:

  • ·Experience: 10+ years of proven business development experience, preferably with exposure to international markets.
  • · Education: MBA/PGDM in Marketing, International Business, or a related field.
  • · Strong understanding of global trade practices, regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • · Demonstrated expertise in strategic partnerships, market entry strategies, and growth planning.
  • · Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • · Experience in Agriculture or Consumer Durables sectors will be an added advantage.

Salary:

Up to – 40 LPA

Location:

Jaipur (Work from office)
