Job Description

Job Summary:

The General Manager (GM) in Real Estate is responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing property portfolios, leading cross-functional teams, and ensuring financial growth and operational excellence. With 5 years of experience, the GM brings strategic insight and leadership to drive the success of real estate projects, sales, leasing, and property management activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Management:

  • Develop and implement business strategies to achieve short and long-term goals.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Set and monitor KPIs and performance metrics across departments.

Operational Oversight:

  • Manage day-to-day operations including sales, leasing, property development, and facility management.
  • Oversee maintenance, compliance, legal, and documentation processes for all properties.
  • Optimize operational costs while improving service delivery and tenant satisfaction.

Team Leadership:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage sales, operations, and property management teams.
  • Coordinate with marketing, legal, finance, and project teams to ensure smooth operations.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and organize training for staff development.

Financial Management:

  • Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
  • Oversee revenue generation through property sales, rentals, and asset management.
  • Ensure collection of payments, rent, and dues from clients and tenants.
  • Client & Stakeholder Relations:
  • Build and maintain relationships with property owners, investors, clients, and vendors.
  • Resolve client issues and ensure high levels of satisfaction and retention.
  • Negotiate contracts, leases, and agreements with clients and third parties.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a real estate managerial or operational role.
  • Proven experience managing property portfolios, teams, and P&L responsibilities.
  • Strong knowledge of property laws, regulations, and market dynamics.
