CSR Fundraising Officer

This position requires a passion for social impact, excellent communication skills, and the ability to engage with corporate stakeholders, donors, and program partners. 

Key Responsibilities

1. Fundraising & Partnerships

• Lead and manage corporate partnerships, identifying new CSR leads and driving conversions. 
• Develop and implement fundraising strategies and campaigns to ensure smooth financial flow for program operations. 
• Manage donor relations, ensuring engagement, retention, and achievement of annual fundraising targets. 
• Represent the organization at fundraising events and prepare detailed feedback reports for stakeholders. 

2. Portfolio Management

• Conduct research, build a fundraising pipeline, and co-create proposals with internal teams. 
• Oversee monitoring & evaluation processes for ongoing CSR projects. 
• Develop partnerships with funders and manage long-term portfolio strategies. 
• Provide operational support for new CSR projects and maintain accurate tracking and reporting of activities. 

3. Collaboration & Communication

• Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to support CSR initiatives. 
• Assist in building and strengthening CSR portfolios by evaluating new partnership opportunities. 
• Conduct due diligence of potential partners and service providers based on the assessment framework. 
• Provide project management support to implementing agencies to ensure compliance and achievement of project goals. 

4. Project Design & Evaluation

• Co-design project frameworks, MIS, and monitoring mechanisms to optimize outcomes. 
• Drive CSR initiatives in coordination with business units and other functional departments. 
• Develop content for sharing CSR updates on social media, websites, and other communication platforms. 

Required Experience, Skills, and Qualifications

Experience

• 5–6 years of experience in 

  CSR fundraising

  , sales, business development, or relationship management in the non-profit or corporate sector. 
• Experience in 

  grant-making, impact investing

  , or 

  venture philanthropy

   is highly preferred. 
• Experience working with 

  public sector organizations

   is an advantage. 

Skills & Competencies

• Strong commitment to social causes, especially in 

  waste management

   and environmental sustainability. 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to influence stakeholders across levels. 
• Strong leadership qualities, ability to work independently, and take ownership of outcomes. 
• Proficiency in developing legal agreements and managing CSR documentation. 
• High emotional intelligence, empathy, and a service-oriented mindset. 
• Good understanding of Indian social issues, CSR regulations, waste management initiatives, and government support schemes. 

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication; fluency in 

  English and the regional language

• Knowledge of legal, regulatory, technical, and social requirements in the CSR domain.
