Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Leadership & Architecture
- Lead end-to-end architecture and design of full-stack applications (.NET backend + Angular frontend).
- Define technical standards, coding guidelines, reusable components, and best practices.
- Design scalable, secure, and cloud-ready architectures (preferably Azure).
- Review architecture decisions with senior stakeholders and ensure alignment with enterprise standards.
- Evaluate and integrate AI/ML components (Azure OpenAI, Cognitive Services, embeddings, vector search, etc.) into existing systems.
- Team Management & Mentoring
- Lead a team of full-stack developers, conduct 1:1s, guide performance, and support career development.
- Allocate tasks, review code, ensure quality, and remove blockers.
- Facilitate collaboration between backend, frontend, QA, DevOps, and AI/ML teams.
- Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions and mentor junior developers.
- Full-Stack Development
- Hands-on development using:
- Backend: .NET Core / .NET 6+, Entity Framework, Web APIs, Microservices
- Frontend: Angular 12+, TypeScript, HTML/CSS, RxJS, NgRx
- Database: SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or NoSQL technologies
- Build RESTful APIs, scalable services, secure authentication/authorization.
- Implement front-end architecture with reusable components and best UX practices.
- AI Integration & Modernization
- Work with AI teams to integrate:
- LLM-powered chat assistants
- Summarization, classification, sentiment analysis
- RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation) pipelines
- Semantic search, vector databases
- Collaborate on prompt engineering, data structuring, and API integration strategies.
- Evaluate feasibility of AI features and support POCs.
- Delivery & Project Execution
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and deliverables.
- Work with PMs, architects, QA, and stakeholders on delivery timelines and sprint planning.
- Ensure on-time delivery with proper documentation, testing, and risk mitigation.
- Manage code reviews, version control, deployments, and CI/CD processes.
- Quality, Security & Performance
- Ensure performance optimization of backend APIs and Angular UI.
- Enforce secure coding practices: OWASP, API security, authentication, authorization.
- Implement automated tests, unit testing frameworks (xUnit/NUnit/Jest/Jasmine).
- Work closely with DevOps to enable monitoring, logging, and observability.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills
- 8+ years of hands-on development experience.
- Expertise in:
- .NET Core / .NET 6+
- Angular 10+ / TypeScript
- REST APIs, Microservices
- SQL Server / PostgreSQL
- Unit testing frameworks
- Experience in cloud platforms (preferably Azure).
- Good understanding of DevOps (CI/CD pipelines, Git, Docker, Kubernetes).
AI/ML Skills (Preferred But Valuable)
- Hands-on experience or strong understanding of:
- Azure OpenAI (GPT models), Cognitive Services
- Prompt Engineering
- RAG, embeddings, vector databases (Pinecone, Redis, Cosmos DB)
- Python or ML frameworks (optional but advantageous)
- Familiarity with integrating AI services into .NET or Angular applications.
Leadership & Soft Skills
- Strong leadership, communication, and people management.
- Ability to collaborate across teams and manage stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong ownership mindset, ability to handle pressure and deliver on commitments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Certifications:
- Microsoft Certified Azure Developer/Architect
- AI-900 / DP-100 (AI & Data certifications)
- Full-Stack development certifications (optional)
- Experience working with enterprise-scale, high-traffic applications.
