Job summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Workday Senior consultant. As a Workday Senior Consultant in our Finance Practice, you will be instrumental in delivering high-quality Workday solutions to our clients. This role requires a combination of technical expertise in Workday Financials as well as a deep understanding of business processes and analytics. Your responsibilities will include leading Workday implementation projects, configuring and customizing Workday solutions, managing data conversions, and providing end-user training.The ideal candidate will possess a thorough understanding of Workday modules such as Financial Management, Procurement & AP, Customer Accounts, and Assets, based on your project experience. This role demands the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team to meet the goals set by the team lead.This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional who thrives in a busy workplace and is well-versed in working closely with senior management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Workday implementations, upgrades, rollouts, and support.
- Proficiency in configuring and customizing Workday Financials modules.
- Experience in executing Workday implementation projects, including project management, requirement gathering, design, testing, and deployment.
- Strong understanding of Workday security, business processes, and condition rules.
- Experience with Workday integrations, including EIB, Core Connectors, and Studio.
- Relevant certifications in Workday Financial is highly desirable.
- Experience in agile project management, including conducting sprint planning sessions.
- Technical leadership with a deep understanding of Workday's architecture and data model.
- Ability to architect Workday solutions and mentor junior team members.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
- Expertise in Workday report writing, calculated fields, and dashboard creation.
- Experience with Workday's advanced capabilities including Accounting Center and Prism Analytics
- Hans-on experience in Workday Prism implementation, including data model design, ETL processes, and Dataset creation
- Configure Prism workbooks, dashboards, and data pipelines to meet business requirements
- Integrate external data sources (I.e. ERP, CRM) into Prism for unified analytics
- Have experience with Workday Foundation Data Model (FDM)
- Demonstrate hands-on functional expertise in key business processes such as procure to pay (PTP), Order to cash (OTC), financial accounting (FA), General Ledger (GL), Assets Management, Budgeting, Cash Management
- Direct client communication skills for understanding needs and developing solutions.
- Advanced certifications in Workday are a plus.
- Assist in agile project management tasks, including user story assignments and sprint planning.
To qualify for the role, you must have.
- 5-8 years of hands-on experience with Workday Financials, including a minimum of 5 end-to-end implementations focused on core financials, supply chain management, Procurement, or similar use cases.
- Minimum 2 end-to-end electronic invoicing solution (Preferably Pagero) integration with Workday
- Proficiency with SCRUM/Agile methodologies.
- Advanced skills in MS Excel for developing Mock Ups for clients.
- Expertise in Workday report writing and custom report development.
- Masters-degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Strong understanding of banking operations, financial products, and regulatory requirements
- Proven track record of leading and executing complex regulatory projects within the banking or financial services industry.
- Excellent analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills.
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Certification in key finance Data Analytics tool (e.g. KNIME and Alteryx)
