Roles and Responsibilities

  • Independently design, develop, test, and ship frontend features using React and modern web technologies.
  • Own task breakdown from product stories, ensuring that each task is well-scoped and deliverable within 5 days.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code that meets internal quality standards and is easy for others to understand.
  • Build highly performant, scalable, and responsive user interfaces with a strong focus on usability and accessibility.
  • Implement and maintain effective monitoring and alerting for frontend components in production.
  • Actively contribute to sprint demos, design discussions, and retrospectives.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure high quality and consistency in the codebase.
  • Align with other teams when working on shared code or integrating cross-functional features.
  • Collaborate with backend engineers to ensure seamless integration between frontend and backend systems.
  • Leverage generative AI to increase development efficiency and maintain high velocity in deliverables.


Requirements

  • 7 to 11 years of professional experience in frontend development, preferably in product-led internet companies or startups.
  • Strong expertise in

    HTML, CSS, JavaScript

    , and modern frontend tooling.
  • Hands-on experience with the

    React ecosystem

    including

    React Router, Styled Components, SSR, Context API, and Hooks

    .
  • Proficiency with state management tools like

    Redux

    or

    MobX

    .
  • Good understanding of

    cross-browser compatibility

    issues and practical solutions.
  • Experience building scalable web applications using

    Java

    and

    Spring

    , or familiarity with microservices architecture is a strong plus.
  • Ability to independently own and deliver frontend features end to end — from design to monitoring in production.
  • Exposure to or active use of

    generative AI tools

    for code generation or optimization is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of design principles, system performance, and frontend architecture.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Fast learner, proactive problem solver, and a team player with a strong focus on quality and user experience.
