Requisite Experience & Skills
- KYC & Onboarding
- 2–4 years of experience in customer onboarding and KYC verification (preferably in BFSI, fintech, or NBFCs).
- Strong understanding of RBI KYC norms, AML guidelines, and PMLA requirements.
- Ability to identify and handle discrepancies in documentation.
- Familiarity with digital KYC tools and onboarding portals.
- Execution of Agreements
- Prior experience in drafting, reviewing, and executing merchant/partner agreements.
- Coordination with legal and compliance teams.
- Attention to detail to ensure completeness and accuracy of agreements.
- Understanding of standard clauses and risk-related legal language.
- MIS Preparation on Onboarding
- Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, charts) and dashboard preparation.
- Experience in preparing onboarding funnel reports and tracking turnaround times (TAT).
- Ability to generate, interpret, and present weekly/monthly MIS reports to senior management.
- Risk Mitigation
- Knowledge of onboarding frauds, red flags, and risk indicators.
- Exposure to tools/systems used for fraud detection during onboarding.
- Experience in identifying risky profiles and suggesting preventive measures.
- Good understanding of transaction laundering and merchant risk profiling.
- Chargeback Management
- Hands-on experience in handling chargeback lifecycle (dispute receipt to resolution).
- Coordination with banks/networks to represent and mitigate chargebacks.
- Analytical skills to identify chargeback trends and propose mitigation strategies.
- Experience in merchant training or SOP creation to reduce chargeback exposure.
