Education - B.Tech in Food Technology
Experienced -8-10yrs in manufacturing food industry
Work to be Done:
Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demand while optimizing resource utilization
Should drive production passionately during the season and meet the production deadlines without compromising quality.
Monitor production processes and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and efficiency standards.
Coordinate with procurement and inventory management teams to ensure the availability of raw materials and packaging supplies.
Coordinate with the packaging supervisor and ensure the quality of the packaging is as per company standards.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce production costs.
Conduct regular inspections of equipment and machinery to ensure proper functioning and troubleshoot any issues.
Train, mentor, and supervise production staff to maintain high levels of performance and morale.
Collaborate with the quality assurance team to implement and maintain quality control procedures.
Maintain accurate production records and prepare reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) for management review.
Manage relationships with external vendors and contractors to ensure timely delivery of services and materials.
Planning the labor budgeting and costing as per business requirements.
Work to be Managed:
Oversee day-to-day production activities, including scheduling, staffing, and workflow management.
Lead cross-functional teams to resolve production-related issues and implement corrective actions.
Monitor production budgets and expenses to ensure cost-effective operations.
Coordinate with other departments such as sales, and logistics to align production activities with overall business objectives.
Stay abreast of industry trends and technological advancements to drive innovation and competitiveness in production processes.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence within the production team.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to food safety and manufacturing practices.
Ensure safety of man power and the entire plant.
Participate in strategic planning and decision-making processes to support business growth and expansion initiatives.
Rejections of products should not exceed beyond permissible limit as per plan.
Coordination with the maintenance department as and when required
Handle production supervisors
Ensure labeling is done properly
Ensure raw material is properly maintained with hygiene.
Maintain error-free FT Records
Needed manhours vs actual manhours comparison to be shared with management.
Requisite Skills:
Minimum of 6 years of experience in production management, preferably in the FMCG industry.
Must be passionate about production
Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale production operations and delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve goals.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities with a data-driven approach.
In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality management systems, and regulatory requirements.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite and ERP systems. Experience with production planning software is a plus.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions and levels of the organization.
Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement principles.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
