Fleet Manager

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Transport/Fleet Manager to oversee and manage our 100-vehicle fleet operations. The ideal candidate must have hands-on knowledge of logistics portals, Amazon Relay, and vehicle placement strategies. The role requires complete responsibility for vehicle scheduling, placement, dispute handling, rate negotiations, and smooth running of 32-feet vehicles with leading E-commerce companies (Amazon, Flipkart, Mahindra, Meesho, and others).

Key Responsibilities

• Fleet Management
• Manage daily operations of a 100-vehicle fleet (FTL/PTL/32-feet vehicles).
• Ensure optimal vehicle placement, routing, and utilization.
• Monitor vehicle tracking, trip planning, and load optimization.
• Client & Portal Management
• Manage Amazon Relay portal and other E-commerce logistics portals.
• Handle trip bookings, slot confirmations, POD uploads, and dispute resolution.
• Act as the main point of contact for Amazon, Flipkart, Mahindra, Meesho, and other partners.
• Handle disputes with Amazon/E-commerce clients on billing, delays, or service issues.
• Negotiate rates and contracts with clients to ensure profitability.
• Operations & Compliance
• Ensure compliance with all transport laws, permits, GST/e-way bills, and client-specific requirements.
• Oversee driver scheduling, training, and discipline.
• Monitor vehicle maintenance, insurance, and RTO documentation.
• Financial & Reporting
• Control operational costs (fuel, tolls, maintenance, penalties).
• Prepare MIS reports for fleet performance, on-time deliveries, and cost per km.
• Work with the accounts team on billing, vendor payments, and rate disputes.
• Crisis & Problem Solving
• Handle last-minute client requests, urgent placements, or vehicle breakdowns.
• Quickly resolve operational challenges to ensure zero disruption in client services.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate in Logistics / Supply Chain / Business (preferred).
• 5+ years of proven experience in fleet management, preferably in E-commerce transport operations.
• Strong knowledge of Amazon Relay and other logistics portals.
• Hands-on experience managing 32-feet vehicles in E-commerce contracts.
• Proven ability to handle disputes and negotiate rates with Amazon and other major clients.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation skills.
• Strong knowledge of compliance, documentation, and transport regulations.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, GPS tracking portals, and ERP systems.
• Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and take ownership.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
