Project Manager About the role: - As a Project Manager-Civil, you will be leading end to end construction of Vetic's Clinics/ Hospitals across India - Lead Pre and on site Construction Project Management - Ensure delivery of safe, compliant, sustainable and innovative property solution that meet the needs of the business and the many people: 1. Lead and contribute in the development to engage with designers and contractors in the projects to continuously find cost efficient and innovative project delivery methods 2. Coordinate and implement Construction Project delivery strategies, methods and procedures developed in the Cluster and align implementation and communication of those activities with all internal and external stakeholders 3. Manage project estimate, budget & cost management - Lead project delivery & procurement Strategy: business strategies for engaging with design and construction industry including Contractual models, Collaboration strategies, Tendering & Selection Process, Dispute avoidance & resolution 4. Manage scheduling & risk management 5. Lead health and safety compliance for construction projects Experience required: - A minimum of 4 years of experience in leading project delivery of small-medium scale commercial projects in India, you should have on-ground exposure in: 1. Budget management: Knowledge of how to plan, organize and manage the costs and expenditures of a business or organization 2. Business risk management: Knowledge of how to assess and mitigate risks in a business environment 3. Project management: Knowledge of how to initiate, plan, execute, control and close a project 4. Construction management: Knowledge of how to initiate, plan, organize, execute and manage the construction of large-scale 5. Cost control: Knowledge of how to implement a budget. 6. Timeline management: Knowledge of how to set a realistic timeline for a construction site, and how to recognise and prevent any deviation. 7. Job Title: Project Manager Data Center Design & Build Qualification: B.E/B.Tech (Mechanical/Electrical Engineering) Location: Bengaluru Job Type: Full-time Experience Level: 8 to 15 years About the Role We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Project Manager to lead the end-to-end design and build of data center (DC) facilities . The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, technical knowledge of data center infrastructure, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams to deliver mission-critical projects on time, within scope, and on budget. Key Responsibilities Manage the full lifecycle of DC design and build projects, from initiation through handover. Coordinate with design consultants, architects, engineers, general contractors, and stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals. Define project scope, objectives, schedules, budgets, and resource plans. Review and approve technical designs, construction drawings, and specifications. Oversee construction activities, site readiness, MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) installation, and commissioning processes. Ensure compliance with local codes, regulations, and industry standards (e.g., Uptime Institute, TIA-942, ASHRAE). Mitigate project risks through proactive planning and issue resolution. Provide regular progress reports to senior management and stakeholders. Manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques. Ensure quality assurance and control throughout the project lifecycle. Facilitate smooth transition to operations upon project completion. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field. Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management, with at least 3 years in data center projects. Proven track record in delivering DC infrastructure projects from design to commissioning. Strong knowledge of critical infrastructure systems (HVAC, UPS, power distribution, fire protection, BMS). Proficient in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6) and reporting tools. PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification preferred. Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with hyperscale or colocation data center environments. Familiarity with sustainability and energy efficiency best practices. LEED or equivalent green building certification is a plus.
