Finance -Shared Service

Job Summary

Cleanova is a global industrial filtration expert that provides design, manufacture, installation and aftercare solutions across liquid and gas flow processes. Fast growing and with strong investment support from PX3, a forward looking private equity investor based in London, the business is ready to accelerate growth.

The organisation operates a direct to customer model and through distributors or local channel partners as well as collaborating with specialist engineering consultancies on larger projects. It operates globally with manufacturing and sales offices across The Americas, EMEA, and APAC. Cleanova is approximately 1,500 people strong globally and is Headquartered in Chattanooga, Tennessee, US.

This new role is key to unlocking the potential of the Cleanova business enabler functions and will establish a Cleanova Centre of Business Excellence team that is tasked with :

-      Financial transaction processing (AR & AP) for Cleanova’s global subsidiaries

-      Intra-group accounting postings and reconciling IC positions each period end

-      Maintenance of Group consolidation software

-      Production of recurring analytical reports for commercial and operation teams

-      Incorporate global payroll operations and other HR activities as part of development of The Centre of Business Excellence

-      Ensuring world class global coverage of shared service functions, meeting all time zone requirements.


Reporting to the Global Commercial Finance Manager, the Shared Service Manager will interact with Financial Controllers and HR leaders around the Cleanova group and directly recruit and manage a team that is expected to grow to 6 to 8 staff over the next 6 months. The Shared Service Manager will be responsible for developing the Centre of Business Excellence, including recruiting, training and retaining relevant individuals.

  Principle Duties and Responsibilities


§ Shared Service Team Lead: Grow, Establish & Lead SSC team members and oversee their relationship with local teams across the globe.

§ Intercompany: Maintain group company GL postings in ERP and manage the group IC positions, making sure these reconcile each period.

§ Process control: Work closely with the SSC teams and controllers to improve their processes, quality, and overall performance to meet the company's standards.

§ KPI’s: Develop and maintain SSC KPI’s to ensure quality and timely performance.

§ Consolidation System Maintenance: Working with the Group Accountant maintain HFM structure. Maintaining both the GL structure and entity structure to reflect Cleanova business.

§ BI reporting: Working with Cleanova FP&A manager to produce weekly BI reporting. Working to improve quality and efficiency of reports

§ Identify areas of opportunity to grow the Shared Service offering

§ Recruitment: Be involved in the hiring of top talent in the region, with appropriate skills and experience


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities


·        Ability to lead Shared Service Centre for Cleanova, onboarding other entities per migration plan

·        Experience of establishing a Shared Service Centre model for a US/ European organization

·        Production of SSC kpi’s to management performance

·        Knowledge of Hyperion’s HFM consolidation tool

·        Power BI

·        Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy

·        Strong analytical and communication skills required

·        Excellent communication and presentation skills

·        Can meet commitments with the highest standards of ethics and integrity

·        Energetic individual with a clear sense of urgency

·        Ability to work well to deadlines and deliver results on time

·        Self-starting with good organisational skills

·        Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding team-oriented global environment


 Education and Experience

 

·        Qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA (or internationally-recognised equivalent) with 5+ years’ experience working in a fast-paced international finance environment

·        Experience in building and running finance shared service, particularly AP & AR function

·        Experience in Finance within a manufacturing environment is highly desirable would be an advantage

·        Demonstrated financial and commercial awareness

·        Excellent communication skill in English language and ability to interact with global stakeholders.
