Your Role And Responsibilities

In this role, you will offer meaningful analyses and financial perspectives based on internal and external factors necessary for decision making. You will proactively communicate information to relevant groups and recommend actions to improve financial performance. You will also ensure accuracy of financial reporting and provide meaningful insights and analyses.The work model for the role is .This role is contributing to the Robotics & Discrete Automation in Nelamangala Bangalore, India.This role reports to Financial Planning & Analysis Manager supporting the Business line Industries management, Segments leaders, along with operations and other cross-functional teams.You will be mainly accountable for:

• Support closing process globally to ensure accurate data is available as soon as possible. Then, immediately start variance analysis (vs budget, prior year, prior quarter/month) across key KPIs, including Orders, Revenue, Profitability, Operating Cash Flow (OCF), and Net Working Capital (NWC) to understand business performance
• Work closely with the FP&A Manager to ensure a timely and accurate financial forecasting process for the business line, coordinating effectively with cross-functional teams, segments, and operations
• Work closely with the India Controlling team, actively participate in project reviews, and provide support to the Regional/India Project Controllers for cross-border projects involving multiple countries
• Support ensuring a safe working environment, continuous HSE improvement processes and integrity performance. Personally, live the ABB values; this role requires expert collaboration and coordination with multiple stakeholders
• Develop, automate, and execute standard reporting on critical Robotics Division and/ or Business Line KPIs
• Ensure processes and controls within own area of responsibility are designed and implemented in line with Group and unit requirements
• Optimize own performance to increase productivity by developing automated solutions, eliminating duplications, coordinating information requirements
  

Qualifications For The Role

• 2 to 4 years of experience in Finance and Controlling, with a preference for candidates with exposure to Project or Factory controlling
• Proven analytical mindset with the ability to provide meaningful business information from the numbers in order to facilitate business decisions
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence others at every level including the highest level in the organization
• Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint
• Hands-on experience with SAP FICO and COPA modules is preferred
• A university degree in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting is required, preferably with a further accounting qualification such as CA or CMA
