This Position reports to: R&D Global Unit Lead Your role and responsibilities In this role, you will have the opportunity to collect, analyze, and interpret financial data. Each day, you will update budgets and forecasting models and identify trends and problems. You will also showcase your expertise by communicating insights and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive financial performance and optimize business outcomes. This role is contributing to the Electrification Business in Smart Power Division in Hyderabad, India You will be mainly accountable for: Independently performing monthly closing of financial including cost booking validating accuracy of financial data and reports by performing reconciliations and review of exceptions. Performing monthly analysis of business trends, variance analysis to plan and key performance indicators to be used in management reviews. Independently manage the monthly forecasting and annual planning processes, ensuring that financial results are stated accurately. Be a valued business partner to the business team. Providing insight regarding costs and headcount information for each department and providing valuable forecast. Work closely with operations team to collate data required for charge-outs as per the charging model and provide inputs for invoicing to various entities. Maintaining proper audit trail and documentation for future tax/internal/external audits and reviews. Qualifications for the role Qualified Charted Accountant/ Cost & Management Accountant with 7+ years of experience in Financial Controlling and taxation preferably in a shared services environment. Good knowledge of USGAAP & INGAAP. SAP S/4HANA working knowledge in FICO module is mandatory.
