Role Responsibilities

Controllership & Reporting

• Lead end-to-end monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close cycles

• Deliver accurate financial statements aligned with Indian GAAP and regulatory standards

• Provide timely financial reporting and insights to leadership and stakeholders

Audit & Compliance

• Drive statutory, tax, and internal audits as the primary point of contact for auditors

• Ensure full compliance with applicable accounting, regulatory, and tax requirements

• Strengthen internal controls and implement process improvements

Taxation

• Oversee all tax filings, assessments, reconciliations, and related documentation

• Stay updated on evolving tax regulations and assess business impact

• Ensure timely and accurate GST, TDS, and income tax compliance

Treasury & Cash Flow Management

• Manage treasury operations, optimise working capital, and maintain liquidity planning

• Prepare weekly and monthly cash flow forecasts and monitor variances

• Manage relationships with banking and financial partners

Process & Systems Improvement

• Drive automation and efficiency across accounting and reporting workflows

• Support implementation, enhancement, and adoption of ERP / financial systems

Role Requirements

• CA or Equivalent Finance Qualification with 3–5 years post-qualification experience (Bangalore-based); B2B SaaS / fintech exposure preferred

• Strong understanding of direct & indirect taxation and statutory audits

• Proven expertise in treasury and cash flow management

• Excellent knowledge of accounting standards, financial reporting, and regulatory frameworks
