What We Need
Corpay is seeking a Finance Shared Services Manager to support and lead finance operations within our fast-growing Shared Services Centre, located in Chennai, India. In this role, you will partner closely with the Senior Manager of Financial Reporting, Director of Financial Reporting, and the Global Finance Team to deliver accurate financial reporting, strengthen controls, and drive operational efficiency across multiple international entities.
You will play a critical role in managing finance operations, leading a high-performing team, coordinating audits, and supporting continuous improvement and automation initiatives across the shared services environment.

Role Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the role will include:
Financial Operations & Reporting
Collaborate with the Senior Manager of Financial Reporting and the Global Finance Team to produce monthly financial results, annual audited financial statements, and management reporting for Australia, Singapore, New Zealand, India, Hong Kong, and other legal entities in accordance with US GAAP and local financial reporting standards.
Oversee and manage transactional and operational finance processes, including accounts payable, general ledger activities, client money segregation (Australia, Singapore, and New Zealand), and monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
Provide hands-on operational coverage by preparing accounting entries during team ramp-up and development at the Shared Services Centre.
Lead and coordinate multiple external audit engagements, acting as the primary point of contact for auditors and ensuring timely completion of audit deliverables.
Lead and manage the Corpay India Finance team, driving performance, accuracy, and operational excellence.
Team Leadership & Development
Partner with the Senior Manager of Financial Reporting and Director of Financial Reporting to recruit, manage, and develop a high-performing finance team.
Provide ongoing coaching, training, and performance management to enhance capability, engagement, and effectiveness across the team.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
Serve as the primary point of contact for the Global Finance Team to coordinate finance transactional and operational activities delivered through the Shared Services Centre.
Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and manage external auditor interactions when responsibilities are delegated to Finance Shared Services.
Compliance, Controls & Governance
Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, SOX requirements, and applicable regulatory standards.
Support internal and external audits by providing complete, accurate, and timely information.
Promote a strong control environment and continuous improvement mindset across finance operations.
Tools, Technology & Continuous Improvement
Utilize and develop expertise in tools and technologies including Camtrade, Workiva, Excel, LeaseQuery, SQL, Power BI, Macros, and Microsoft Dynamics 365 to support daily operations and reporting.
Identify opportunities for process optimization, standardization, and automation within finance operations.
Provide coverage for other Finance department functions and perform ad-hoc responsibilities as required.
Qualifications & Skills
Approximately 5 years of accounting or financial reporting experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
Professional accounting qualification preferred (CA or equivalent), or actively working toward a designation.
Strong knowledge of financial reporting across US GAAP, IFRS, and Ind AS, including internal controls over financial reporting and financial statement preparation.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas and functions.
Proven ability to deliver accurate results within tight timelines.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and prioritization skills.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management capabilities.
