Company Description Anikrriti is a sustainable luxury womenswear label dedicated to empowering modern urban professional women through contemporary designs that incorporate centuries-old Indian handloom traditions. We collaborate directly with master weavers and regional artisans to reinterpret traditional motifs and prints into bold, timeless silhouettes. Key Responsibilities: Conceptualize & Sketch Develop seasonal design concepts and mood boards aligned with Anikrriti’s sustainable luxury ethos. Produce hand sketches and digital illustrations (Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop) for apparel and accessory lines. Fabric & Material Selection Source eco-friendly textiles (organic cotton, Tencel, upcycled silks) and sustainable trims that complement brand aesthetics. Collaborate with suppliers and in-house production team to ensure material quality, ethical sourcing, and cost efficiency. Pattern Making & Sampling Create and refine patterns, including draping and flat pattern‐making techniques. Oversee sample development in the on-site manufacturing unit; conduct fittings, suggest alterations, and finalize tech-packs. Design Execution & Collection Development Translate concepts into production-ready designs; ensure all technical specifications (grading, measurements, construction details) are accurate. Work closely with the production team of 15 artisans to supervise sample approval, quality checks, and timely delivery. Trend Research & Market Analysis Stay abreast of global fashion trends—particularly in sustainable and luxury ethnic wear—and competitive landscape. Present trend reports and color/print forecasts to inform upcoming collections. Collaboration & Brand Alignment Partner with Marketing and E-commerce teams to develop lookbooks, social media content, and visual merchandising that reflect the brand’s luxury positioning. Attend design reviews, provide constructive feedback, and maintain cohesion across product lines. Quality Control & Cost Management Ensure all finished garments meet Anikrriti’s high quality and sustainability standards. Monitor costs, suggest design modifications to optimize material usage, and maintain profitability targets. Qualifications & Experience Education : Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Fashion Design, Apparel Technology, or a related field from a recognized institute. Experience : Minimum 3 years as a Fashion Designer—preferably within a luxury, sustainable, or ethnic wear brand. Proven track record of building collections from concept through production, ideally in a Delhi-based studio or similar hub. Technical Skills : Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CAD (CLO 3D or equivalent preferred). Strong pattern-making, draping, and garment construction expertise. Solid understanding of fabric properties, sourcing protocols, and sustainable textile innovations. Portfolio : A robust portfolio showcasing previous collections, technical drawings, and completed samples—emphasizing craftsmanship, attention to detail, and an understanding of luxury aesthetics. Soft Skills : Excellent communication and collaborative abilities; comfortable providing and receiving feedback. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines. Passion for sustainable fashion and knowledge of eco-friendly practices. Compensation : ₹4 LPA–₹6 LPA for candidates with 3+ years of relevant design experience. Exceptional portfolios may warrant higher consideration.
