Factory Production Manager

Location: Sultanpur, New Delhi
Industry: Interior Manufacturing
Experience Required: 10–15 Years (Minimum 5 years in a supervisory/managerial role)
Qualification: Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering or relevant experience in furniture/interior industry.

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and result-driven Factory Production Manager to oversee end-to-end production operations, resource planning, workflow management, and quality control. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in modular furniture production, custom fabrication, carpentry, metal work, polishing, and installation coordination within a high-end interior and furniture manufacturing setup.

Key Responsibilities:

Production Planning & Execution

• Develop, implement, and monitor production schedules based on project timelines.
• Coordinate with Design, Procurement, and Project teams to ensure all materials, BOQs, and drawings are available before production.
• Ensure daily, weekly, and monthly production targets are met.

Team Management

• Lead and supervise a multi-skilled workforce including carpenters, polishers, painters, machine operators, and helpers.
• Allocate jobs to technicians/ Carpenters based on skills, timelines, and machine capacity.
• Train and build a disciplined, efficient, and motivated factory workforce.

Quality Control & Standards

• Ensure production output meets design specifications, finish quality, and measurement accuracy.
• Implement SOPs for inspection, approvals, rework control, and finishing standards.
• Minimize quality issues, rework, wastage, and production errors.

Coordination & Communication

• Work closely with design/PPC (Production, Plaining and Control) teams for technical drawings, revisions, and execution sequence.
• Maintain strong coordination with project sites for pre-delivery checks and installation readiness.
• Communicate progress reports to management and resolve bottlenecks proactively.

Factory Operations & Safety

• Ensure timely preventive maintenance of machines and production equipment.
• Enforce compliance with workplace safety, housekeeping, and statutory labor guidelines.
• Monitor factory consumables, tools, equipment usage, and stock availability.

Cost Control & Efficiency

• Monitor resource utilization, production costs, man-hours, and material wastage.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and implement automation where feasible.
• Support procurement team by evaluating technical feasibility of vendor-supplied materials.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Strong operational knowledge of woodworking machines, metal fabrication, upholstery, polishing, and modular furniture production
• Excellent leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to read technical drawings, BOQs, specifications, and production layouts
• Hands-on experience with ERP/production tracking tools
• Strong organisational and time management skills

Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
