Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Factory Manager to oversee the complete end-to-end operations of our steel cutting factory in Faridabad. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient production, maintaining stringent quality control, managing costs effectively, and fostering a safe and productive work environment. This role requires strong leadership, excellent organizational skills, and a deep understanding of steel fabrication processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Production Planning & Execution:

• Develop and implement efficient production schedules to meet customer demands and delivery timelines.
• Oversee daily factory operations, monitoring production progress and ensuring optimal resource utilization.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions promptly.
• Ensure the timely delivery of finished goods according to quality and quantity specifications.

Quality Control:

• Establish and maintain rigorous quality control standards throughout the production process.
• Conduct regular inspections of materials and finished products to ensure adherence to quality specifications.
• Implement and monitor quality assurance procedures and address any quality-related issues effectively.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and customer requirements.

Staff Management:

• Recruit, train, and supervise factory staff, including machine operators, technicians, and other production personnel.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and employee engagement.
• Set performance expectations, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance evaluations.
• Implement training and development programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.

Cost Management:

• Develop and manage the factory budget, ensuring cost-effective production strategies.
• Monitor and control operational costs, identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements and cost reduction.
• Manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods to optimize storage and minimize waste.
• Negotiate with suppliers to ensure favorable pricing and timely delivery of materials.

Safety & Compliance:

• Ensure strict adherence to all environmental, health, and safety (EHS) regulations and company policies.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries in the workplace.
• Conduct regular safety audits and address any potential hazards proactively.
• Maintain all necessary permits and licenses to ensure legal and compliant operations.

Continuous Improvement:

• Identify opportunities for process optimization, equipment upgrades, and safety enhancements.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, efficiency, and quality.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in steel fabrication.

Supplier Coordination:

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors of raw materials and consumables.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure the timely and cost-effective procurement of necessary materials.
• Monitor supplier performance and address any issues related to quality or delivery.

Reporting & Analysis:

• Maintain accurate production records, including output, efficiency, and quality metrics.
• Prepare regular production reports and MIS reports for executive management, providing insights into factory performance.
• Analyze production data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Strategic Planning:

• Participate in the development of long-term strategic plans for the factory, aligning with the overall business objectives.
• Contribute to market research and new business development initiatives as required.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Proven experience (5+ years) in a management role within a steel fabrication or cutting industry.
• Strong understanding of steel fabrication processes, including cutting, shearing, bending, and other related operations.
• Comprehensive knowledge of quality control standards and procedures in steel manufacturing.
• Familiarity with inventory management principles and supply chain logistics.
• Excellent leadership, communication (written and verbal), and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and 1 meet tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in relevant software and systems (e.g., ERP systems, production planning software, etc.).
• Knowledge of relevant Indian safety regulations and compliance standards.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹17,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
