Job Description

Job Purpose:

To ensure smooth HR operations during assigned shifts at the manufacturing plant, including attendance management, employee grievance handling, compliance monitoring, and coordination with production and security teams.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Shift HR Operations:

  • Monitor and manage employee attendance, leave, and shift rosters.
  • Ensure timely resolution of employee queries and grievances during the shift.
  • Maintain discipline and adherence to plant policies.

• Compliance & Documentation:

  • Ensure statutory compliance related to labor laws (e.g., Factories Act, ESIC, PF).
  • Maintain accurate shift-wise records of manpower deployment and absenteeism.
  • Support audits and inspections by providing necessary documentation.

• Employee Engagement & Welfare:

  • Coordinate welfare activities and ensure availability of basic amenities (canteen, transport, etc.).
  • Support onboarding and induction of new joiners during the shift.

• Coordination & Reporting:

  • Liaise with production, security, and administration teams for shift-related HR matters.
  • Prepare and submit daily HR shift reports to the HR Manager.

 

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in HR / Industrial Relations / Social Work (MBA preferred).
• 2–4 years of experience in HR operations, preferably in a manufacturing setup.
• Familiarity with labor laws and factory HR practices.
