Role Overview

As the Corporate Event Sales Manager


Key Responsibilities

Identify, approach, and acquire new corporate clients (companies, institutions, NGOs, etc.) for MICE / corporate events.

Maintain and grow relationships with existing corporate clients; ensure high levels of client satisfaction.

Lead the full sales cycle: from lead generation → proposal/pitch → negotiation → closing deals.

Prepare and deliver effective business presentations and customized event proposals.

Understand client requirements, craft event themes/plans, manage budgets, coordinate with vendors (venues, catering, decor, AV, transport, etc.).

Work closely with internal teams (operations, logistics, vendor onboarding, finance) to ensure smooth delivery of events.

Track and manage a sales pipeline (funnel), forecast revenue, and regularly report performance.

Negotiate contracts and agreements with hotels, vendors, venues for best terms and cost efficiencies.

Monitor market / industry trends, competitor behavior; propose strategic initiatives to stay competitive.

Attend client meetings, site inspections, trade shows or expos if needed.

Oversee client feedback, post‑event evaluation, and ensure continuous improvement.


Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, Event Management, Marketing, or related field.

3‑7 years of experience in event sales / business development / corporate events / MICE domain. Prior experience in travel/hospitality is a plus.

Strong track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets.

Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple events/projects simultaneously.

Proficiency with CRM tools, MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint), and event‑management software.

Good network of corporates / understanding of the decision‑makers in companies (HR, Admin, Procurement etc.).

Attention to detail, strong organizational skills.

Willingness to travel locally / visit client sites or venues.
