Role Overview

Event Sales Manager


Key Responsibilities


Sales & Business Development

  • Generate leads and secure bookings for weddings, social functions, corporate events, wellness retreats, and MICE activities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with event planners, wedding planners, corporates, travel agencies, and wellness partners.
  • Conduct sales calls, client meetings, and property show-rounds to convert inquiries into bookings.
  • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets for banquets and events.


Client Management

  • Understand client requirements and customize proposals to suit their event needs.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and packages while ensuring profitability and client satisfaction.
  • Act as a single point of contact from inquiry to event execution, ensuring a smooth client experience.


Collaboration & Execution

  • Work closely with the banquet, operations, F&B, and wellness teams to ensure flawless event delivery.
  • Provide detailed event briefs to the operations team and oversee execution when required.
  • Gather client feedback post-events and ensure continuous improvement.


Marketing & Branding

  • Support marketing initiatives to promote Ridhira Retreat as a top destination for events.
  • Participate in exhibitions, wedding fairs, and networking events to generate new business.
  • Develop partnerships with event organizers and wellness communities for brand visibility.


Reporting & Analysis

  • Maintain accurate sales records, pipelines, and revenue forecasts.
  • Track competitor activities and provide market intelligence to management.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales performance and strategies.


Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, or related field.
  • 5–8 years of experience

    in event sales/banquet sales, preferably in luxury resorts, hotels, or premium venues.
  • Proven track record in achieving event sales targets (weddings, corporate events, MICE, social gatherings).
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Network with wedding planners, corporates, and event agencies is a strong advantage.
  • Ability to multitask, handle pressure, and deliver under tight deadlines.
