Job Title: Event Planner / Wedding Planner

Location: Ridhira Retreat, Hyderabad

Reporting To: General Manager – Ridhira Retreat

Job Purpose:

The Event Planner / Wedding Planner at Ridhira Retreat will be responsible for end-to-end planning, coordination, and flawless execution of weddings, social gatherings, and corporate events. The role demands exceptional organizational skills, creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders while delivering personalized and memorable experiences that align with the Ridhira brand.

Key Responsibilities:

Meet with clients to understand their vision, expectations, budget, and specific requirements for weddings and other events.

Plan and design detailed event concepts including themes, décor, food and beverage arrangements, and timelines.

Coordinate with internal teams (banquets, kitchen, housekeeping, security) and external vendors (decorators, florists, photographers, artists, etc.) to ensure smooth event execution.

Manage event budgets, track expenses, and negotiate with vendors to ensure cost-effective delivery without compromising quality.

Develop detailed event proposals and timelines for client approval.

Conduct regular site inspections and final walkthroughs with clients prior to events.

Supervise all on-site event activities, ensuring seamless coordination and handling last-minute changes or challenges proactively.

Maintain a database of preferred vendors and stay updated with market trends in the wedding and events industry.

Ensure guest satisfaction by providing exceptional service and a personalized approach throughout the planning and execution stages.

Manage post-event evaluations to gather client feedback and drive continuous improvement.

Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to promote Ridhira Retreat as a premier wedding and event destination.

Key Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Event Management, or a related field.

7-15 years of experience as an Event Planner, Wedding Planner, or similar role in the hospitality/events industry.

Proven portfolio of successful weddings, corporate events, and social functions.

Strong vendor network and established industry relationships preferred.

Exceptional communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.

Ability to multitask and manage high-pressure, time-sensitive events.

Strong sense of aesthetics, creativity, and attention to detail.

Willingness to work on weekends, holidays, and flexible hours based on event schedules.
