Responsibilities:

• Carry out the day to day operations of Health, Safety and Environmental management.
• Contribute to the application of effective Health, Safety and Environmental management by providing technical support.
• Compliance reviews, general risk assessments and other safety assessments to support Health, Safety and Environmental management.
• Maintain relevant HSE logs and documentation and prepare applicable HSE reports as necessary.
• Compliance of applicable laws and regulations.
• Provide assistance and advice on HSE issues to make recommendations to facility management.
• Participate in detailed incident investigations and Root Cause Analysis.
• Promote incident prevention for the benefit of employees and visitors.
• Observe HSE regulations, encourages safe working practices.
• Corrects obvious hazards immediately or reports them to the proper personnel.
• Driving Safety Audits, Awareness programs & Periodical Training.
• Responsible for Govt. Liaison & coordination.
• Able to plan and develop critical risk strategy to mitigate any future risks at the plants.
• To conduct trainings to improve EHS involvement and competency of all stake-holders.
• Conducts and coordinates facility inspections to identify and correct identified safety hazards and potential safety hazards.

Required Skills (Functional & Behavioral Skills)

• Must have handled Safety Audits, Safety awareness programs.
• Experience of handling overall HSE activities in manufacturing Industry.
• Knowledge of IMS (OHSAS 18001 and ISO: 45001), IATF 16949, ESG Implementation
• Strong analytic and investigating skills.
• Ability to work with employees and achieve cultural change in the face of potential resistance.
• Maintain positive and proactive relations with managers and employees, as well as our customers and regulatory agencies.
• Knowledge of internal / external auditing process will be an added advantage.
• Must be good in Presentation/Communication skills.
