Engineering Manager

to lead high-performing engineering teams, shape technical strategy, and deliver world-class AI/ML-powered fintech applications.This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned engineering leader who wants to influence architecture, elevate engineering excellence, and build next-generation AI systems for the financial services industry.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Strategy & Architecture

  • Define and evolve the technical vision for AI- and model-driven product platforms.
  • Lead architecture discussions and contribute to hands-on technical design.
  • Ensure system scalability, reliability, security, and performance across large-scale deployments.
  • Drive coding standards, code reviews, CI/CD processes, and technical debt reduction.

Team Leadership

  • Build, mentor, and manage engineering teams across ML, backend, and frontend.
  • Conduct 1:1s, performance reviews, and ensure structured career development.
  • Foster a culture of ownership, innovation, inclusivity, and continuous learning.

Project & Delivery Management

  • Own end-to-end project delivery, including planning, execution, timelines, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Partner closely with Product, Design, and Data Science teams to deliver high-impact solutions.
  • Implement, improve, and scale Agile/Scrum practices, KPIs, and retrospectives.
  • Identify risks early and create mitigation strategies for technical or operational challenges.

Engineering Excellence & Quality

  • Lead technical hiring, define role requirements, and ensure high-quality talent acquisition.
  • Oversee automated testing, observability, monitoring, and incident management.
  • Manage bug triage, root-cause analysis, and engineering support processes.

Innovation & Continuous Improvement

  • Promote design thinking, user-centered problem solving, and experimentation.
  • Evaluate and introduce new tools, frameworks, and architectures.
  • Balance innovation with platform stability, security, and compliance requirements.
  • Keep the team updated with industry best practices and evolving AI/ML technologies.

Stakeholder & Client Interaction

  • Act as a technical point of contact for senior management and enterprise clients.
  • Present architecture decisions, technical roadmaps, and post-mortem reviews.
  • Incorporate client feedback into product and engineering planning.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of software engineering experience with 5+ years in people leadership or engineering management.
  • Strong expertise in Python, Java, C++, or similar modern stacks.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure), microservices, Docker, Kubernetes.
  • Proven track record in large-scale distributed system design and high-availability production systems.
  • Exposure to AI/ML platforms, foundation models, or MLOps pipelines (highly preferred).
  • Strong capability to attract, hire, and retain top engineering talent.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies, resource planning, and technical risk management.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, including presenting to leadership teams.
  • Experience in trading systems, real-time data, or quantitative analytics is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Preference for top-tier institutes.
