The Jio World Centre is strategically located in Mumbais vibrant business and cultural hub of Bandra Kurla Complex. This centre has been developed with an international design vocabulary, while honouring the culture and spirit of India. Purpose of The Role The Engineer will be responsible to manage all aspects of Engineering Operations & Maintenance in JWC on a daily basis. Directs, coordinates and performs routine, preventive and emergency interior / exterior maintenance and repairs to obtain optimum efficiency of JWC operations. He/she is also responsible for overseeing Engineering team in JWC in the Engineering & maintenance activities while meeting required safety, hygiene and quality standards. Job Accountabilities Complies with the Engineering standards in performing maintenance activities in Engineering Utility areas (FoH & BoH). Maximize maintenance team potential with a balanced focus on operations, guests, employee and owners satisfaction. Prioritize, plan, schedule, assign, and supervise PPM activities ensuring compliance with SLA/KPIs to ensure Asset is maintained as per the desired standards. Ability to work and handle shift operations involving attending to all Internal/External guest complaints. Support electrical/mechanical operations using SAP, including tracking, and maintaining data. Assist in implementing SAP-based processes for electrical maintenance and safety. Familiarity with SAP operations, particularly in asset management and maintenance tracking. Daily HLP analysis and strive towards continuous energy reduction by implementing innovative process and product improvement ideas. Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for equipment failures and recommend corrective and preventative actions. Works closely with the Engineering HOD & Senior Managers to provide support in Engineering & Maintenance activities as and when required. Oversee the maintenance tasks, work orders and special projects ensuring timely completion. Maintain the physical appearance and operational efficiency of the property including physical. mechanical, electrical, plumbing etc. Operation & maintenance of all equipment related to Electrical, HVAC, Kitchen, Laundry, Plumbing, and Fire Safety in the assigned area. Ensure proper records keeping related to all plants and equipments for property including repair and service records. Prepare reports as required by all the internal customers, Business Head and Head of Engineering. Attend all Facility Management / Engineering meetings as required, passing on necessary information to the maintenance team in regular junior staff meetings. Perform daily and weekly inspections and countersign all reports. Ensure property, physical plant, safety equipment and work areas are maintained to highest standard and as per NBC and laid RIL guidelines. Establish and maintain department equipment, Engineering consumables and supply inventory levels appropriate to the property requirements Provide training to staff on supplies, inventory, maintenance and ordering procedures. Train engineering department staff on maintenance procedures and assists in repairs as required. Maintain, monitor and test emergency and security systems, features like Fire Alarm, CCTV, baggage scanners etc. Discuss with Business Head / Owners / Head of Department on maintenance status and inspection reports. Develop, implement and manage energy conservation programs for the property to minimize expenses. Coordinate with the equipment suppliers in consultation with central engineering for AMC and any outstanding issues. Ensure maintenance staff is wearing proper uniforms with name tag and upholds JWC grooming and hygiene standards. Responsible for quality service, meeting / exceeding financial goals, short- and long-term planning and day-to-day operations. Qualifications Bachelors degree in electrical / mechanical engineering Skills Ability to lead and mentor a team. Must be able to demonstrate strong leadership skills and lead by example. Professional appearance demeanour and conduct. Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows-based computer applications. Able to work varied shifts including holidays and weekends Able to work in a high pressure, fast paced environment Advanced knowledge of building management/engineering with positive attitude, good communication skills and committed to delivering a high level of customer service Experience Minimum of 8 years maintenance experience and 2 years supervisory or manager experience in Hospitality engineering / Property management.
