Summary of Functions

- Responsible for In-process and Final Quality Inspection for Avionics including Preliminary and Final Testing; Test Reports; After Sales Support and Repairs; Customer Inspection; Quality Systems AS 9100D, ISO 27001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and AFQMS; Customer Complaints, Implementing Best Practices in Quality 5S, Problem Solving, and Troubleshooting.

Qualifications and Experience

- B.E/B.Tech – Electronics and Communication Engineering - Electronics with 4-6 years of experience

- Experience in Electronics, Avionics andAerospace Industries in Tier-1 / OEM/Medium Scale Organisation/MSMEs

- Experience in Inspection and Testing of Electronics Assemblies and Components

- Experience in Measuring Instruments – Multi-meter, Power Meter, CRO, Signal Generator etc.,

- Experience in AS 9100D, ISO 27001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 - Implementation related to Quality

- Experience in Quality Tools

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Carryout In-Process Quality by In-process Inspection and Tests; monitoring deviations, root cause analysis and corrective actions; reduce rejection and rework; process improvements and cost reduction.

- Record In-process non-conformity and ensure Closure by Corrective Action.

- Preliminary Testing of all Projects for Function and submit to Production.

- Retest of Electronics/ Electrical Assemblies after Assembly and Endurance Tests

- Final Inspection and Preparation of Test Reports.

- Offer Final parts and assemblies for Customer Inspection and co-ordinate for Customer Clearance of Parts.

- ESS Testing and Preparation of Test Reports.

- After Sales Support and Repairs for assigned projects; Presurvey of the Unit and Preparation of Presurvey Reports.

- After Sales Support and Repairs for assigned projects; Preparation of Test Report and Work-done Report.

- Maintain records of Test Reports and Quality related Project Documentation.

- Implementation and Compliance to Quality Systems – AS 9100D, ISO 27001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001; Improve Effectiveness of Quality Systems and its adherence by all Functions.

- Implement Best Practices and Quality Methodologies to improve Product and Process Quality -5S, Problem Solving, and Troubleshooting.

- Improve In-process and Final Product Quality by engaging internal stakeholders.
