EDP Manager

An EDP (Electronic Data Processing) Manager oversees an organization's computer systems, networks, and data, handling everything from strategy, security (firewalls, antivirus), and infrastructure (hardware/software installation, upgrades) to daily operations like backups, user support, training, and ensuring data integrity for reports, bridging tech needs with business goals and managing IT staff.

Core Responsibilities

• System & Network Management: Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade hardware, software, servers, and networks (LAN/WAN).
• Data & Security: Manage databases, perform backups/restores, ensure data security (firewalls, antivirus), and disaster recovery.
• User Support & Training: Provide help-desk support, troubleshoot issues, and train staff on new systems and applications.
• Strategy & Planning: Develop IT strategies, plan for new systems, manage budgets, and ensure compliance.
• Vendor & Team Management: Oversee IT staff, manage relationships with suppliers, and negotiate contracts.
• Reporting: Generate timely reports, monitor system performance, and ensure data accuracy for business intelligence.

Key Duties

• Overseeing daily IT operations and staff.
• Approving new hardware/software purchases.
• Maintaining inventory and software license compliance.
• Coordinating support for mission-critical applications (ERP, CRM, etc.).
• Creating and maintaining system documentation and logs.

Skills Required

• Technical: ERP/EDP systems, network admin, security, databases, project management.
• Soft Skills: Leadership, problem-solving, communication, vendor management, business analysis.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
