Driver Manager

Job Title: Driver Manager Job Description:  We are seeking a proactive and people-focused Driver Manager to manage the engagement, performance, and satisfaction of driver partners in the fleet. This role is crucial in building long-term relationships, minimizing attrition, maximizing fleet uptime, and supporting drivers across their lifecycle—from onboarding to issue resolution. Key Responsibilities: Driver Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for all drivers associated with a specific city Build trust with driver partners and ensure continuous engagement Address concerns related to payments, performance, vehicle issues, or app usage Maintain strong retention through timely communication, support, and feedback Performance & Compliance: Track daily driver performance metrics (trips, cancellations, fleet usage, etc.) Identify low-performing or inactive drivers and take proactive steps for retention. Ensure drivers comply with rental agreements, and behavioral guidelines. Coordinate with operations and verification teams for timely resolution of violations Documentation & Support: Assist in collecting and updating driver KYC, agreements, and policy acknowledgements Guide drivers through app usage, incentive schemes, and fuel reimbursements Monitor driver documents for expiry (license, insurance, PUC, etc.) and ensure timely renewals Coordination & Issue Handling: Collaborate with fleet maintenance, recovery, and onboarding teams to support driver queries Help in resolving app-related issues, payment delays, or penalties Visit hubs or meet drivers on-ground regularly for grievance redressal   Key Requirements: Graduate in any discipline Minimum one year of experience in driver management, customer success, or fleet operations Strong communication skills in local language and basic English Problem-solving mindset Familiarity with fleet systems, tracking dashboards.
