Director, Technical Program Management

Overview

Lead the overall coordination, status reporting, schedules and stability of project-oriented work efforts, ensures that project goals and objectives are met within agreed upon time, scope and resource requirementsDevelops detailed project plans and manages all implementation processes within budget constraints Applies technical capabilities within own discipline to coach and develop junior employeesResponsible for planning, developing, and executing schedules, ensuring methodology complianceIdentify complex resolutions, and help develop solutions to complex problemsRegularly communicate to management regarding the status of specific project deliverables, and interact with client to set and manage expectationsConsults on new products, processes, standards or plans in support of the business.Direct and optimize the flow of value through the ART and Solution Train using various tools, such as the Program and Solution Kanbans and other information radiatorsEstablish and communicate the annual calendars for Iterations and Program Increments (PIs)Assist in facilitating PI Planning readiness by fostering the preparation of Vision and Backlogs, and through Pre- and Post-PI Planning meetingsSummarize Team PI Objectives into Program PI Objectives and publish them for visibility and transparencyAssist tracking the execution of features and capabilitiesFacilitate periodic synchronization meetings, including the ART sync at the Program LevelAssist with economic decision-making by facilitating feature and capability estimation by teams and the roll-up to Epics, where necessaryCoach leaders, teams, and Scrum Masters in Lean-Agile practices and mindsetsHelp identify and mitigate risks and dependenciesEscalate and track impedimentsProvide input on resourcing to address critical bottlenecksEncourage collaboration between teams and System and Solution Architects/EngineeringWork with Product Management, Product Owners, and other stakeholders to help ensure strategy and execution alignment Improve the flow of value through value streams using the Continuous Delivery Pipeline and DevOpsHelp drive the Lean User Experience (UX) innovation cycleFacilitate System DemosDrive relentless improvement via Inspect and Adapt workshops; assess the agility level of the ART and Solution Train and help them improve
