Director, Advanced Infrastructure

Job Summary:

This role is responsible for strategy, project delivery and execution of short and long-term infrastructure initiatives in alignment with business goals, as well as developing a strong relationship with our managed services partners.

Your Impact

• • Define and lead the global infrastructure strategy, including AD/O365, cloud, network, data center, and end-user computing, factory site, governance, and hybrid system support.

• Evaluate the end-to-end on-premise data centers and build strategy for supporting reliable services ·

• Manage the execution of infrastructure projects and enhancements, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery with measurable business outcomes.

• Collaborate with enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, and application teams to ensure infrastructure supports current and future business needs.

• Evaluate emerging technologies and trends to drive innovation and continuous improvement.

• Develop and manage capital and operational budgets for infrastructure initiatives. · Ensure compliance with global IT standards, security policies, and regulatory requirements.

• Ownership of factory site support, hands / feet of system support, and governance with CAB, asset, license management (SAM/HAM)

• Build the promote-to-production processes to help transition services to the DT operational support areas

• • Infrastructure Strategy & Roadmap: Develop and maintain a forward-looking infrastructure strategy and roadmap that supports business growth, digital transformation, and operational resilience.

• Project & Program Delivery: Lead the execution of infrastructure projects and enhancements, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and on budget. Oversee project governance, risk management, and stakeholder communication.

• Architecture & Design Oversight: Collaborate with enterprise architecture and security teams to ensure infrastructure designs are robust, secure, and aligned with enterprise standards.

• Technology Modernization: Drive modernization initiatives including cloud adoption, data center transformation, network optimization, and automation of infrastructure services.

• Capacity & Performance Management: Ensure infrastructure capacity planning and performance monitoring processes are in place to support business needs and service level expectations.

• Change & Release Management: Ownership of infrastructure-related changes and releases, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations and alignment with change management protocols.

• Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a key liaison with business units, factory/site support, strong collaboration with apps teams, and executive leadership to ensure infrastructure services meet evolving needs.

• Strategic technology partner management: Work closely with the Microsoft, google type of technology partners to ensure infrastructure strategy are delivered effectively and implement the transformation areas

• Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure infrastructure services adhere to regulatory, security, and compliance requirements. Support audits and risk assessments as needed. · Reporting & Metrics: Monitor and report on infrastructure performance, project status, and service delivery metrics. Provide transparency and insights to stakeholders.

• Factory site / hybrid support & Governance Hands / feet of site factory support, hybrid system L3-L4 support activities, and governance of overall CAB, Compliance, SAM / HAM and license management aspects.

Your Experience and Qualifications

· 15+ years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure engineering, DevOps, Cloud transition and automation leadership roles, ideally in global, complex environments. · Proven experience managing infrastructure strategy in a hybrid or fully outsourced model. · Experience in data center transitions and infrastructure maturity to build reliable next gen and advanced infra services. (Experience with AI, SDWAN, Infra as code, Infra as a service with decrease capex investments) · Strong understanding of cloud platforms (Google, Azure, AWS, etc.), networking, storage, and compute technologies. · Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence at the executive level. · Excellent partner management, negotiation, and communication skills. (Cross functional collaboration with sites, apps, and functions) · Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
