Digital Marketing Manager
Role Overview

You should be as comfortable opening dashboards and diving into ROAS/CAC as you are in briefing creatives and thinking about moms’ buying behaviour.
Key Responsibilities1. Performance Marketing (Meta / Google / Others)
- Plan, launch and optimise campaigns on
Meta (Facebook/Instagram)
and Google (Search, Display, Performance Max)
. - Set up and manage full-funnel campaigns – awareness, consideration, remarketing and retention.
- Continuously A/B test
creatives, copies, audiences, landing pages
and bidding strategies. - Monitor daily spends, ROAS, CTR, CPC, CPA and ensure campaigns hit agreed efficiency targets.
- Coordinate with the creative team/agency to ensure ad assets are on-brand and performance-oriented.
2. Marketplace & E-commerce Growth (Amazon / FirstCry / Nykaa / Flipkart / Quick Commerce)
- Work closely with the e-commerce team to grow sales on
Amazon, FirstCry, Nykaa, Flipkart
and quick commerce platforms. - Plan and optimise
Amazon Ads
(sponsored products, brands, display), manage keywords, bids, negative keywords and placements. - Run and track
platform ads
on FirstCry / Nykaa / others as required. - Improve product listings – titles, bullets, A+ content, images, SEO keywords and reviews.
- Monitor platform dashboards for
sell-through, rankings, reviews, repeat rate and ad performance
and suggest corrective actions.
3. Website & Own Channel Growth
- Work with tech/agency to manage and optimise the
D2C website
(UX, load speed, funnels, tracking). - Implement and track
pixels, events and UTM parameters
for accurate attribution. - Drive traffic via paid, organic, influencer and referral channels; work towards improving
conversion rate & AOV
. - Support development of
landing pages
for specific campaigns, offers, or product launches.
4. CRM, Retention & Community
- Plan and execute
email & SMS/WhatsApp
campaigns for new launches, offers, education and retention. - Segment customers (new, repeat, high-value, lapsed) and design journeys for each.
- Track and improve metrics like
repeat purchase rate, open rates, CTR and unsubscribe rates
. - Work with the team to build a
community of parents
(social media, groups, content series, UGC).
5. Analytics, Reporting & Strategy
- Own weekly and monthly
performance reports
across all channels (Meta, Google, Amazon, marketplaces, website). - Track key metrics:
Revenue, ROAS, CAC, AOV, repeat %, contribution margins
(as shared), etc. - Use data to constantly refine budget allocation across channels and campaigns.
- Present insights and clear action plans to the founders on what’s working, what’s not and what we should try next.
Must-Have Skills & Experience
- 3–6 years of experience in
digital/performance marketing
for a D2C, FMCG, baby/personal care or e-commerce brand/agency. - Hands-on experience running
Meta Ads and Google Ads
with meaningful monthly budgets. - Strong understanding of
Amazon Ads
and/or other marketplace advertising tools. - Comfortable working with numbers – Excel/Sheets, dashboards, attribution, funnel analysis.
- Experience with tools like
Google Analytics / GA4, Meta Business Manager, Amazon Seller Central, basic email tools
- Basic knowledge of
SEO, social media content
, and landing page best practices. - Excellent communication skills – able to write clear briefs, reports and simple, parent-friendly copy where needed.
Good-to-Have (Bonus)
- Experience in
baby care, beauty, personal care
or health & wellness
categories. - Exposure to
quick commerce
marketing. - Comfort working with
design tools
(Canva) to make quick edits or mock-ups. - Prior experience managing
agencies and freelancers
(creative, performance, content).
