Job Description

Purpose/Objective


    To support and execute all site-level HR and Admin operations for the Wire & Cables business, ensuring effective employee engagement, policy implementation, statutory compliances including Factory Registration, BOCW et.al, and administrative support aligned with organizational standards and operational needs.

Key Responsibilities of Role


    1. Employee Lifecycle Management - Handle end-to-end employee lifecycle activities including onboarding, transfers, confirmations, and exits. - Maintain accurate employee records and ensure timely updates in HR systems. 2. Employee Relations & Engagement - Act as the first point of contact for employee grievances and resolve issues in line with company policies. - Drive employee engagement initiatives and support welfare programs at the site. 3. Training & Development - Coordinate site-level training programs based on skill gaps and operational requirements. - Track training effectiveness and maintain compliance with mandatory learning modules. 4. Policy Implementation & Compliance - Ensure adherence to HR policies, labor laws, and statutory regulations at the site. - Support audits and inspections by maintaining proper documentation and records. 5. General Administration - Oversee site administration including housekeeping, transport, canteen, and time office operations. - Manage vendor contracts and service quality for administrative functions. 6. Coordination & Communication - Liaise with corporate HR, finance, and operations teams for smooth execution of HR processes. - Prepare and share periodic reports on HR metrics, manpower status, and compliance updates.

Technical Competencies


    Proficiency in HRMS tools including Oracle, Kronos, SAP etc.,Statutory Compliance Management including BOCW, Factories Act, ID Act, PF and Misc. Provision Act et.al,Plant Admin Management including Vehicles Management, Canteen Management, Vendor Management, Building & Infra Management,Talent Acquisition Processes including working knowledge of ORC,Talent Management, Employee Engagement and HR & Admin Budgeting with BPC Mapping

Qualifications and Experience


    Education Qualification:- - Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration - Master’s degree in HR (MBA/PGDM) from a recognized institute is preferred. - Certifications in labor law, industrial relations, or HR operations will be an added advantage. Experience:- - Minimum 6–8 years of experience in plant HR roles preferably from Wire and Cable inductry, with at least 3 years in a site-based or plant HR environment. Prior experience in the manufacturing, electrical, or wire and cable industry is highly desirable. - Exposure to handling blue-collar outsources / contractual workforce, statutory compliance, and site administration is essential.
