Deputy General Manager of Finance

DGM-Financial Reporting Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra, India One of India’s leading conglomerates with a strong presence across core sectors like Steel, Energy, Infrastructure etc. is seeking a DGM-Financial Reporting who shall pivotal role in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. This role is critical for maintaining financial integrity and ensuring regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities: Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes for multiple group entities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with IND AS/IFRS and company policies. Drive consolidation of financial statements at the group level, ensuring integrity across various business verticals and geographies. Oversee internal and external audits , coordinate with auditors, and ensure timely closure of audit findings. Maintain Risk Control Matrices and ensure internal controls over financial reporting are effective Proactively identify and mitigate financial risks through robust internal controls and risk management frameworks. Ensure seamless implementation of new accounting standards , policies, and system enhancements with minimal disruption to business operations. Serve as a trusted advisor on accounting, reporting, and control matters , working closely with business, finance, and compliance teams. Qualifications & Experience: Chartered Accountant (CA) with 10-15 years of post-qualification experience in financial reporting, preferably in large conglomerates or multinational companies. Strong knowledge of IFRS , Indian GAAP, and consolidation processes . Demonstrated experience managing multi-entity reporting and audit engagements . Exposure to SAP, Oracle , or other ERP and consolidation tools is a plus. Show more Show less
